Photography Workshops |
| Photography Program Overview |
These workshops are designed to help you sharpen your digital and conventional photography skills, and help position you for a career as a professional photographer, commercial photographer, photo assistant, color specialist or image processor.

| Photography Portfolio |
This workshop places emphasis on the design and production of the portfolio, and its presentation to a prospective client/employer. Electronic and print formats are explored, and appropriateness of presentation is discussed.
Cost: $350 / 2 sessions, 3 hours each (6 hours total), 6 person maximum group size • Dates: 8.3.06, 8.4.06 @ 7pm-10pm

| Scan Back Digital Capture |
In this session you will be introduced to state-of-the-art digital capture, scanning technologies, lighting schemes, and interfacing with a design studio workflow.
Cost: $600 / 2 sessions, 3 hours each (6 hours total), 4 person maximum group size • Dates: 8.7.06, 8.8.06 @ 7pm-10pm

| Color Retouching/Image Processing |
Emphasis on image enhancement, correction, and retouching, as well as color space theory and workflow management. This is an Adobe Photoshop intensive workshop, and will explore work with paths, channels, masks and specialty filters to achieve proper results.

This workshop helps attendees develop an effective presentation of their work, as it relates to professional job opportunities.

| Desktop Publishing |
This workshop addresses fundamental skills needed in the design desktop design environment. Emphasis on page assembly (QuarkXpress and Adobe InDesign) and supported image files and formats.

This workshop focuses on quick commands, keyboard shortcuts, macros and scripts to improve productivity in the studio environment. Adobe Photoshop and QuarkXpress shortcuts will be emphasized.

This workshop illustrates the various means of presenting a compelling interactive portfolio, either online or via CD or DVD disk.

This workshop will take you step-by-step from design through programming of a website, from start to finish, including necessary tools and softwares such as dreamweaver, image-ready, html, flash and cgi scripts.

Advanced programming of a website, to include php, asp, server side includes, relational databases and more.

Flash & Animation for the Web
|
This workshop will introduce you to Macromedia Flash and other animation strategies (animated .gif, quicktime movie, etc.) suited for the web. Application appropriateness, as well as software techniques, will be covered.
